GOLF COURSE LIVING

Would you like to live on a golf course? There are lots of golf course communities. Some of the courses are public and some are private. When you buy a home in them you are not obligated to join the club and membership in the club does not come with the home. Totally separate and your choice.

Homes in golf communities are not necessarily ON the golf course. It’s important to choose carefully when you are looking for one that is on the course. A golf course view can be wonderful, but where will those errant balls end up? Is the property very close to where tee shots usually land? If so, check how far back or protected the house is. You will have golfers walking near your back yard or dashing in to retrieve that lost ball. Is the house very close to a tee box? Will you be able to hear the conversation early on weekend mornings? Because we are golfers we can help you decide what location suits your lifestyle.  

We know golf. We are both golfers and are or have been members of 3 private clubs in the area. If you are interested in joining a club we can give you some pointers.

We have also played at most of the public courses around and can give an objective opinion of their appeal.

We even have an automatic search running for ourselves that looks for homes on golf course lots because we might want to buy one someday.  We would be happy to include you on that email list.
